106699 Per Jan Signaigo: George and Lorena left Ohio and went to Kansas, where they appeared in Chatauqua Co. in 1880. They may have lived in Pratt KS but there is no record of it. In 1883, son Fayette was already in Arkansas and getting married. Sometime between 1880 and 1883 George left home with his 18 year old son Eugene - supposedly to "go west to find silver".. They disappeared and some time later when Fayette searched for them, the last trace of them he found was in Central Illinois. Did they desert the family? STAFFORD, George (I25771)
