120710 | Willard A. Hart - Salina Journal, The - (Nov/11/2005) Willard A. Hart BARNARD ? Willard A. Hart, 85, Barnard, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005. Mr. Hart was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Barnard. He was a former owner of Barnard Grain Co., worked for Kent Manufacturing, was a bus driver for Junction City Transit Lines and was a farmer. He was married to Coleda Ione Nelson on May 13, 1941. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Lions Club, both of Barnard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard V. and Clara (Stafford) Hart. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ione, of the home; two sons, Jeffry L. and wife Joy of Salina and Scott and wife Dianna of Bogue; a brother, Melvin of Barnard; a sister, Clemma L. Stone of Arkansas City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Barnard, the Rev. Dennis Finch officiating. A private inurnment will be in Milo Cemetery, Barnard, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Barnard Lions Club Youth Scholarship Fund or Mexican Baptist Gospel Outreach, 205 Westfall, Beverly 67423. There will be no visitation.
