Mr. Deichert was former Mayor of the Township of Voorhees, serving from 1956-1959, and again from 1968-1969. He also held the positions of Township Committeman, and Director of Public Safety. He was a retiree of the Sherwin Williams Paint Co., Pennsauken, NJ, retiring in 1975, after 40 yrs. of service.
