Neil Stafford, Jr., 90, passed away at his home on Monday, September 23, 2017. He was born in Montgomery County to the late Ed and Myrtle Johnston Stafford on May 4, 1927. He was retired from Bellsouth and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Stafford is survived by his wife, Shirley Tyler Stafford of Winona; two sons, James Neal Stafford, and wife Margie of Southaven and Stephen Roger Stafford of Winona; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Stafford and Bill Stafford; 2 Sisters: Mable Stafford and Faye
Reeves; and 1 Nephew: Roger Neal Stafford.

GRAYSON — Funeral services for Robert A. Stafford, 82, of Grayson were to be held at 2 p.m. today in Grayson Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar Bradford and the Rev. Jim Love officiating.

Burial was to be in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
A retired employe of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, Mr. Stafford was a native of Mississippi and a long-time resident of Caldwell Parish.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jean Stafford of Grayson; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Turner of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Mrs. Travis Gore of Vidalia; four sisters, Mrs. Benson Box and Mrs. Robert Reese, both of Winona, Miss., Mrs. Howard Castile of McGehee, Miss., and Mrs. Jerome Post of Tallulah; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

GREENSBORO- Mrs. Mary "Nanny" Christine Stafford, 88, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Moses Cone Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Greenhill City Cemetery with the Rev. James Sweeney officiating. 
Mrs. Stafford was born in Wythe Co., Va., March 23, 1918, to the late William Cloyd Seagle and Ollie Etta Collins. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gilmer S. Stafford. 
Mrs. Stafford was a devoted home maker. She loved children with all her heart and was a nanny to many in her lifetime. Nanny enjoyed her time gardening and fishing. Most of all she enjoyed raising and spending time with her family. Nanny was a loving person with a smile on, who never met a stranger. She was always open and willing to help anyone in life. Mary was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and Nanny to many. She will be dearly missed. 
Mrs. Stafford is survived by one daughter, Helen Tilley of Greensboro; four sons, Cloyd Stafford and wife Shirley of Climax, Gil Stafford and wife Brenda of Seagrove, Butch Stafford and wife Barbara of Marietta, Ga., and Guy Stafford of the home; three sisters, Harriet Miller of Baltimore, Md., Nancy Woolheater of Wytheville, Va., and Rachel Akers of West Virginia; one brother, John Seagle of Wytheville, Va.; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
