She was a native of Delaware County and lived here all her life. She had worked at the cafeteria of the Young Men's Christian Association in the 1940s and '50s and also at Horn's Sewing Shop during the 1950s.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ and had attended the Wesleyan Chapel.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Stafford of Hartford City; a brother, Hobart McKinley, Muncie; a sister, Lavon Hiatt of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, and a brother.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Burial will be there.
Calling will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery.
Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may ber directed to the Delaware County Lung Association.
