Re: The article about the article about her and her family traveling by sled in 1818 from VT to CLE on land to DKK and then out on Lake Erie where they fell thru the ice. When brother Ahimaz Sherwin,Jr. was 22 years old, with his new bride, Hannah Swan.
Again, see article about Delphia's parents, Ahimaz, Sr. and wife Ruth Day Sherwin, married 38 years and 10 children. We think that Delphia (1796-1840) was the 8th born.
They were called pioneers, to go from VT. to Ohio. Ahimaz Jr. (child #6), was a Revolutionary Veteran.

There is a costly window in the Euclid Ave. Christian Church in Cleveland erected in the memory of Delphia Sherwin, wife of Wm. Hudson and daughter of Ahimaaz and Ruth Day Sherwin.
