  From Saginaw News obituary: Mrs. Eunice Sherman of Vassar, Michigan passed away at her residence Wednesday, February 9, 1977. Age 74 years. Eunice Stafford was born September 24, 1902 in Tuscola County and had been a lifelong resident. She was married on August 15, 1925 in Clio MI to Dewey Sherman who predeceased her July 19, 1967. She was a member of the St.Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth. She was also a member of the U.A.W. of the A.C. Spark Plug Division of General Motors in Flint. She retired in 1965 after 34 years of service. Surviving are one daughter and one son: Mrs. Norma Jean (Darwin) Blake and Elton Sherman, both of Vassar. One brother, Floyd Stafford, Vassar; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Wilson, Lapeer......
