Phyllis I. Stafford of Birch Run, age 84, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center....Phyllis was born September 21, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to the late Jesse and Lydia (Lutman) Randel. She had resided in the Birch Run area most of her life. She was a 1942 graduate of Birch Run High School. Phyllis married Warren Stafford on December 3, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1986. She was employed with AC Spark Plug for 25 years, retiring in 1981. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: children, Duane Bader (Angie Sproul), Gary (Wendy) Bader, Judy Stafford, Susan Stafford and Danny Bader; grandchildren Renee (Cliff) Cleary, Michael (Misty) Jerry, Tricia (Daniel) Schwartz and Christopher (Amy) Jerry, 8 great-grandchildren, Brent, Taylor, Deryk, Andrew, Madelyn, Nathan, Alyssa and Christian...Phyllis was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dora Sharon, Frances Fisher and Wilma Siebel; brother, Roy Ra
