STAFFORD, Viola Rose - Of Mt. Morris, age 71, died Tuesday, October 31, 2000 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2000 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Rev. Erwin Kostizen officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Viola was born December 14, 1928 in Blanco, Texas, the daughter of the late Lolen and Ottelia (O'Bryant) Everett. She had resided in the Mt. Morris area since 1993 coming from Birch Run. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Viola married Clinton Stafford July 24, 1971. He preceded her in death April 22, 1991. Surviving are: son, Arlie (Sonny) and wife Mary Fowler of Clio; daughter, Linda (Darlene) Stute of Mt. Morris; 5 grandchildren, Cheryl and husband Larry McMillan, Christine and husband David Lamb, Sonny Fowler, Dawn and husband Scott Francis, Chuck Dusenbury Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert and wife Nancy Everett of VA, Donnie Everett of WV; sisters, Vinan (Jean) Schwab of Mt. Morris, Violet and husband Sam Davis of OK, Beatrice and husband Jim Agustonilli of PA, Betty Sue Everett of FL; several nieces and nephews. Viola was also preceded in death by her brothers, John and Lolen Everett; and great-granddaughter, Sarah.
