  From Saginaw News Tuesday April 1, 1980: Laverne (Tommy) Tomkinson of Bay City, MI passed away Monday, March 31, 1980, in Bay City. Age 73 years. He was born in Genesee County May 28, 1906. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Mrs Edward (Betty) Babinski, Saginaw; Miss Mary Tomkinson, Bay City; James, Bay City; and Donald L. of Auburn; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Clara Kazmier, Clio.....
