Obituary:
BABINSKI, Betty of Saginaw Township.
Passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009. Age 78 years. Betty was born July 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Leverne and Velva (Clements) Tomkinson. Betty married Edward Babinski, June 15, 1963. He survives her. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was employed by Bay City Mercy Hospital for eleven years as a nurse. Betty enjoyed camping with Ed. She loved her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband, Edward, are her children, Greg and Tammy Babinski, Grand Rapids, MI; Scott and Deborah Babinski, Sagianw, MI; two grandchildren, Amanda, Isabelle; two brothers and their wives, Jim and Norma Tomkinson; Donald and Stella Tomkinson; one sister, Mary Tomkinson; three sisters-in-law, Lana and Ben Wenzel, Kathy and Lou Santino; Darlene Hudson; several nieces and nephews and many camping friends. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd. Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate with burial in Floral Gardens Bay City, MI. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Friday and at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
