  Bettye Joyce Drake, age 77, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Baxter County Regional Medical Center. She was born 13 August 1933 in Nocona, Texas to Roy Jinks and Maude Pauline Stafford Wiggins.  On May 31, 1952, she married David Keith Drake in Phoenix, Arizona. They moved to Mountain Home in 1964. Bettye was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed being involved in the community, volunteering at the Serenity House, serving as a president of the PTA, and participating in other charitable activities.  She was happiest in her flower garden, collecting antiques, and above all being with her family. Bettye left behind 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
