Obituary:
Virginia Lu Stafford was born July 26, 1949, the daughter of Kenneth “Moose” and Alice (Howard) Stafford in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She was a graduate of Mallard High School. On April 24, 1971, Jinner was united in marriage to James Studer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mallard. Jinner worked at the Palo Alto County Hospital, SNC Manufacturing and most recently, the Wild Rose Casino. She loved to spend time baking for family and friends. Jinner enjoyed coffee and conversation with friends and co-workers. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Jinner had a zest for life, and she will always be remembered for her sense of humor and ability to make other people smile. On Friday, September 24, 2010, Jinner passed away at her home.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jim of Mallard; mother, Alice of Emmetsburg; two children: Kerry and wife, Jenny of Johnston and Lisa and husband, Michael Hubbard of Urbandale; three sisters: Nancy and husband, Dr. Wendell Davis of Overland Park, KS, Peggy and husband, Paul Reinhart of Albany, MO and Mary Stafford and friend, Frank Gotts of Mallard; two brothers: Richard Stafford and wife, Diana of Mallard and Dan Stafford and wife, Lois of Great Bend, KS; and five grandchildren: Kaily, Brock, Jaden, Ryan and Noah. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers: Robert and David Stafford
