Evelyn T. Strouse, 92, of Evansville died Wednesday at Parkview Care Cente
r. She had been the manager of the catalog department at JC Penney a
nd had worked at Servel Corp.
She was Protestant.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathryn L. Wilhite of Evansville and Ma
ry W. Brand of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, William H. of Henderson, Ky
.; eight grandchildren, Jon, David, Rhonda and Donald Strouse, John, Ma
rk and Brad Haller and Michael Brand; 14 great- grandchildren; and two gre
at-great-grandchildren. Her husband, William, died in 1973 after 50 yea
rs of marriage. Services are pendingat Alexander Funeral Home West Cha
pel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributio
ns may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
