• Notes

  Ernest graduated in 1895 from Los Angeles High School and became a tile se tter. In 1896 he entered UC Berkeley, and graduated in 1900. He accompanied Prof essor Moses to the Philippines to assist in establishing schools there. He retur ned to the U.S. in 1908 and began teaching Mathematics and History in LAHigh School. He was a veteran of WW I. In 1925 he became principal of Los Angel es High School, and remained in this position until his retirement in 1941.
