A.G. Smith Dies at 69
Washington Native Taken
A native Washingtonian, Archie Gilbert Smith, 69, died Mondayin St. Eliza
beth Hospital. His home was at 1301 1/2 E. Adams St. Born in Puyallup, M
r. Smith came to Yakima six years ago from Prineville, Ore. He was a veter
an of World War I, a member of the First Christian Church, and secretary-t
reasurer of the Men's Ninety and Nine class of the church. Survivors inclu
de his wife, Willie; a son, Ellwood, Hunters, Washington; a daughter, Mr
s. Genevieve Allen, Arlington, Oregon; two grandchildren; two brothers, Vi
ctor, Winlock, and Maurice, Chehalis; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Barne
y, Olympia; Mrs. Tillie Morton, South Bend, and Mrs. Ada Lucich, Corvalli
s, Oregon. Shaw and Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
