  Hallie Trainum remained in Santa Barbara, California after her husband, Roy Pusey Churchill, died until 1952, when at that time she moved to Los Angeles, California. In her will of October 1950 she bequeathed to Richard M. Kern her entire interest in "Chruchill's Jewelers," which at that time was located at 1009 State Street in Santa Barbara, California. Upon visiting that store today one can still see the jewler's scales inscribed with the words: VIRGIL HENRY CHURCHILL.
