Donald Foltz
Donald Carlton Foltz, 88, California, Mo., died Thursday, March 3, 200
5, at his home in Branson.
There will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursd
ay in the Marysville City Cemetery. The American Legion will have a milita
ry graveside rite.
Donald Foltz was born Dec. 8, 1916, in Frankfort, the son of Benjamin H. a
nd Elsie Waymire Foltz.
He grew up near Winifred.
He married Mary Ann McMurray Dec. 2,1966, in Long Beach. She died April 2
2, 1984.
He served in the Navy from 1941-1961 and was a chief machinist mate. He re
tired in 1961.
He worked for the U.S. Mint in Denver for 10 years and owned and operat
ed the Ranch House Restaurant in California, Mo., from 1980-1984.
He was a member of Fleet ReserveAssociation and the VFW Post No. 4345.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Garret and an infant sist
er, Haroldene; and a brother, Harold.
Survivors include a sister, Annabelle Foltz, Denver.
