Notes |
- The Bellville Independent reported on 27 Jun 1895 that four members of t
he Daniel Riggle household had been down with measles. The same newspap
er reported that Willis Jones had returned to work at H. Alexander's aft
er a wrestle with typhoid fever.
Sarah told the 1900 and 1910 census she had given birth to six childre
n, and 5 were still living; those five included George E. Jones, and thr
ee Riggles; since I cannot find Willis Jones anywhere, and he was kno
wn to have been suffering from Typhoid Fever in 1895 (as well as being exp
osed to measles), it is likely that he is the one who died; Minnie must ha
ve married, but I haven't found her marriage information yet.
