The son of Millard and Sarah (Klinger) Reed, he was born in Perry Township of Ashland County Aug. 29, 1885 where he had lived his entire life. A former employe of Faultless Rubber Co., he married Lockie Stafford who preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Josephine) Manion and Mrs. Jack (Betty) Manion, both of Ashland; a son Millard Reed of Rowsburg; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His parents, his wife and an infant son preceded him in death.
