  Obituary: Wayne (Mike) Stafford, 60, McComb, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He had been in failing health for the last year. A retired sheet metal worker, Mr. Stafford was born in McComb, March 24, 1916, to Roy and Mae (Hemry) Stafford. On Sept. 6, 1957, he married Ann Griffith. She died Oct. 5, 1974. Surviving are a daughter Karen, and a son Mike, both at home; two step-daughters, mrs. William (Pat) Christman, Deshler; Mrs. Don (Ruth Ann) Stiffler, Des Mines, Iowa; a step-son, Robert Buchanan, Findlay; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Donald, Spokane, Wash.; Robert, Dayton; four sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Carol) Weeks, 853 Morse St.; Mrs. Irvine (Dorothy) Conine, 1020 Graceland Ave.; Mrs. Chester (Mary) Wedge, Fostoria; Mrs. Harold (Zoe Ann) French, Greenbelt, Md. Mr. Stafford was a veteran of World War II, a member of McComb VFW Mulford-Butler Post, Fraternal Order of Eagle, North Baltimore and attended McComb Church of Christ. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Dennis King officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home McComb VFW will conduct military rites at the grave.
