( another source says ship Statesman also 1864 ? ) May have been bought out by Frances Johnston and husband Charles Frederick Partington to work in biscuit factory, alongside their flour mill in Symonds St. ( source ; Letter from Maggie Walker of Gisborne to her niece Ruth, Oct 2nd 1955.) Daughter of Frances and Charles, Maria, married David Goldie, mayor of Auckland, and had son Charles Frederick Goldie, well known painter of Maori subjects. Born: Bleanish Island - townland Derrylea, Parish is Galloon; Close to present border of Cavan and Fermanagh on Fermanagh side, but has been Cavan in the past at times.
