Richard Lee Stafford, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away March 18, 2004. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in French. A Senior Management Analyst, he worked for the Indiana State Employment Service for over 45 years. Mr. Stafford was a former longtime member of All Souls Unitarian Church. An active and enthusiastic toy train collector, he was a member of several organizations related to model railroading. He is preceded in death by his wife - Emma Geanne Campbell Stafford and is survived by his son - Rabbi Reuven Stafford. Funeral services will be held on Tues, Mar 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary. Burial will take place at Centerton Cemetery in Centerton, IN at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contribtuions may be made to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana or the Julian Center.
