HENSLEY, Margie age 74 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2014. She was born October 23, 1939 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Jessie and Nora Stafford. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her son, Damon Hensley; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Margie is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, J.D. Hensley; children: Donnie Hensley, Jackie Baird, Carolyn (Mike) Preston, Douglas Hensley, Lisa (Mark) Stritenberger and Dale (Lori) Hensley; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Thelma (Robert) Hammond; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm.
