Stafford, John E.
April 02, 2004JOHN E. STAFFORD, 69, of White Hall, Maryland, died Thursday, March 18, 2004, in the GBMC Hospital. He was born January 29, 1935, in Baltimore, beloved son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Edward Edwards Stafford. He was a graduate of Randolph Macon Academy in 1954 and he attended Richmond University. As an entrepreneur, real estate manager and gentleman cattle farmer, he is remembered as a caring son, supportive brother, loving father, adored grandfather and close friend. He was a member of Mount Christian Church in Fallston. He is survived by three sons, Edward Edwards Stafford II and his wife Diane, Charles Walter Stafford and his wife Laurie, John Edwards Stafford Jr. and his wife Cindy; two daughters Nancy Lee Stafford Shipley and her husband, Alec and Judy Lynn Stafford Maxon and her husband, Michael; ten grandsons and 1 granddaughter; two sisters Dorothy S. Peagler of Knoxville, Tennessee and Susan S. Trew of Athens, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend to Jacqueline Heinrichs. The funeral service was held Sat. March 20, 10:30 a.m. at University Baptist Church, 3501 N. Charles St. Interment followed at Druid Ridge Cemetery
