Burl (Buster) Stafford, Jr., 46, of Paintsville died Thursday, June 15 in the Veteran's Hospital at Huntington, WV.
 He was the son of the late Burl Stafford and Fannie Kennard Stafford Sammons.
 Immediate survivors include one son, Rodney Stafford of Indianapolis,IN, two brothers, Carl Paul Stafford of Indianapolis,IN, Everett Stafford and Albert Stafford, both of Paintsville, and two sisters, Mrs.Grace Shipley of Hendersonville,TN, and Mrs.Pauline Burton, of Phoenix,AZ.
 Funeral services were conducted by Elders Tom Sammons and Charles Price at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 18 at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel.Burial followed in the Wells Cemetery at Paintsville, where American Legion Post 150 of Salyersville conducted military honors. Funeral arrangements were made by Preston Funeral Home.
