Buried:
- Lucille G. Harris, nee Stafford, of Troy, Ill., born May 19, 1926, in Dover, Tenn., died at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in Edwardsville, Ill.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Troy, Ill., and a past member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harris, whom she married on July 8, 1945, in Bonne Terre, Mo.; parents, Lawrence and Kate, nee Emery, Stafford; and five brothers, Harvey, Chester, Porter, Tom and Norman Stafford.
Surviving are her daugher, Shelia Rae (Bill) Ezell of Troy, Ill.; sisters, Carrie (Charles) Lupardus of Granite City, Ill., and Emma (Norman) Hessler of Glen Carbon, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at the Irwin Chape, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at the chapel with the Rev. Greg Stafford officiating. Interment in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
