Full Obituary: Betty J. Tyrrell of Brockton died Friday, July 01, 2011 after a brief illness at the age of 66. She battled Parkinsons disease for several years. She is the former wife of Kenneth Tyrrell, Sr. and lived in East Bridgewater until moving to Brockton in 2007. Betty loved playing Bingo with family and friends and enjoyed her crocheting and knitting. She is the late daughter of Martin and Margaret (Murray) Walls. She is survived and missed by her family and friends; mother of Nellie M. Tyrrell of East Bridgewater, Kenneth J. Tyrrell, Jr. of Brockton, Naomi A. Nelson and her husband Kevin of Mansfield, Martin G. Tyrrell and his wife Karen of East Bridgewater. Sister of the late Robert Coombs, Jr. of Florida, the late Judith Macomber of Abington and Kathleen Marshall of Maine. Loving and proud grandmother to Joey, Jamie, Kenny, Jimmy, Kylie, Daniel, Collin and Samantha. Funeral Service in the Prophett-Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater on Tues. July 5th at noon. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00am. Burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. <
