  Died: My great grandfather Marcus Adams died in 1931 as a result of a fall from scaffolding.  He broke his back and died after a few weeks.  My grandmother, Beatrice Francis Adams decided to marry since the family had no source of income and it was the depression.  She married my grandfather Cecil Sparks the day before her 16th birthday and gave birth to my mother less than 11 months later on July 14, 1932.
