Alan R. "Big Al" Stafford
ARMA - Alan R. "Big Al" Stafford, 60, of Arma died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Stafford was born October 1, 1946 at Detroit, Michigan, the son of Doyle Allen and Clementine Bardazone Stafford. Alan was a retired screen printer. He was raised in Lakewood, California and graduated from Lakewood High School. He worked for Chrysler Corporation in Downey, California and was a pattern designer for Modern Angel in California. He moved to Arma in 1977 and worked for A.J. Cripe Bakery, Dyco Corporation, and later owned and operated T&C Printing in Arma until he retired. He married Gloria Infante on May 22, 1970 at Long Beach, California. Gloria survives at the home. Additional survivors include one daughter, Christina LeFever and her husband, Matt, of Arma, one son, William Stafford of Pittsburg, one sister, Cynthia Wilson of Lee's Summit, Missouri, one brother, Doyle Joe Stafford of St. Charles, Missouri, five grandsons, Darius Alan Wilson, Christopher Stafford, Shaun Stafford, Derrick Dingeman, and Maxwell Blank, and one granddaughter, Courtney Lloyd. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tammy Dingeman, and a sister, Cathy Stafford.
