  Pauline, age 3 & seven months, is listed as granddaughter on the 1930 Jackson Co., TN census, in the HH of widow Minnie Stafford. Jackson County Sentinel 12 Aug 1931 calls for George Dudney Cemetery at Free State ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have received info from kin of Mavie (the family calls her Pauline) about her place of burial. Mavie was originally buried at the Fuqua Cemetery. There was a flood and it washed away the markers for some of the people buried there. Mavie was one of them. Mark Dudney, who is also buried in the Dudney Family Cemetery, gave permission to Herschel & Ruby Stafford to move Mavie there. A member of the Fuqua's family put up a plaque at the Fuqua Cemetery with all the names of the people who's markers were lost to the flood and where moved to various cemeteries in the surrounding area. Also, her first name is Mavie not Mazie, according to Herschel & Ruby's family bible.
