Burial will be in Mansell Cemetery. . . . Mr. Mansell died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, in Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage. He was born Oct. 4, 1936, in Jackson County to the late Huston and Ava Ballard Mansell. Mr. Mansell was a truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ. His family includes a son, Tommy Mansell of Gainesboro; two daughters, Annette Barham and Pamela Johnson, both of Cookeville; three sisters, Audra Brown of Shelbyville, Linda Pearl Mayberry of Gainesboro and Cathy Jackson of Lafayette; and three grandchildren, Kayla Allen, Chase Bunch and Jayden Gentry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rettie Ballard and Elene Adams. . . .
