Cremains will be interred in the Young Family Cemetery on Sugartown Ridge in Gainesboro immediately following the memorial service. . . . Mr. Young passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 2, 2008. He was born July 12, 1945, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Bill Clay Young and Bessie Stafford Young Jackson. He worked as a self-employed repairman. He had many friends that loved him. He had a way of making people laugh and was his happiest when helping others. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Sue Young of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 Brothers: Hugh Young of Cookeville, TN; Billy Ray, Ralph, and Kenny Young all of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Dorothy Allen of Cookeville, TN; and Wanda Scoghins of Spring, TX. Other family and friends also survive. Richard Young is named as deceased brother in the Oct. 2011 Obituary for Houston Clay Young, Sr.
