GAINESBORO -- Mr. Marshall Raines, 58, died Friday at his home in Dudney's Hill community in Jackson County.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Funeral Home here.
Burial will be in Pharris Cemetery in McCoinsville community of Jackson County.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Logan and Avo Netherton Raines. He was married in 1950 to the former Lucille Ellis, who survives.
He was a membe of the Gainesboro Church of Christ.
Mr. Raines served with the US Army in the Korean Conflict and was an employee of Crotty Tennessee Inc. in Gainesboro.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffrey M. Raines of Gainesboro; three daughters, Linda Hamlet and Nancy Johnson of Gainesboro and Diane Martin of Bloomington Springs; a brother, Logan Raines Jr., of Gainesboro; two sisters, Bonnie Bowman of Baxter and Lois Bostic of Gainesboro; and five grandchildren.
