Mr. William Ross Stafford, age 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, July 7, 2014, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Ron Skeeters will officiate, with burial to follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Sunday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
He was born July 11, 1925, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Robert and Elizabeth Hoosier Stafford. He worked in poultry indutry.
Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his wife, Lorine Stafford, and brothers and sisters, Rajoe Stafford, Ralph Stafford, Junior Stafford, Sudie Stafford, and Jewell Stafford.
Survivors include five daughters, Bessie Alline Burns, Mary Frances Thomason, and Zelma Marie Mullins, all of Shelbyville, Jeannie Florence Rhoten, of Manchester, and Barbara Sue Thompson, of Gulf Shores, Alabama; twelve grandchildren, Danny Rhoten, Michael Scott, Sheila Davis, James Thompson, Debbie Morsman, Jody Whitaker, Regina Damron, George Marsh, Kelly Marsh, Terri Lynn Henley, Bill Beyl, and Marty Burns; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, James Stafford, and a sister, Maggie Stafford.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the local arrangements.
