Born Sunday, March 22, 1925, in Centertown, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Lucy B. Hamlet Simpson. She was the widow of Ernest "Shag" English. Mrs. English was a homemaker and loved animals, reading and gardening. Survivors include two sons, Ernest R. English of Junction City and Thomas (Carol) English of Brodhead; daughters, Lucy Tarkington of Harrodsburg, Nellie (Donnie) Sallee, Donna Clark, Karen English and Missy Robinson, all of Junction City; brothers, Frank (Louellen) Simpson of Junction City and Herbert Simpson of Bradfordsville; a sister, Dora Williams of Centertown; . . .
