 COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for May Ellen Mayberry, 67, of Gordonsville will be held at 2 p.m. today from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pharris Cemetery in Jackson County. . .
 
 Ms. Mayberry died on Thursday, March 13, 2003, in Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born July 30, 1935, to the late Sam Tinsley Stafford and Hallie Burton Biggs Stafford. Ms. Mayberry was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
 
 Her family includes her husband of 54 years, Benice Mayberry of Gordonsville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Anna Pearl Mayberry of Carthage, Johnny and Vickie Mayberry of Chestnut Mound and J.R. and Pamela Mayberry of Phoenix, Ariz.; six daughters and sons-in-law, Robbie Stafford and Gail Carter, both of Carthage, Reba Hines of Gainesboro, Angela "Shorty" and Russell Scott of Alexandria, Brenda and Jeremy Short of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sammie "Peanut" and Eddie Owens of Cookeville; five brothers, George, Paul and Daniel Stafford, all of Gainesboro, Jack Stafford of Carthage and Sam Stafford of Cookeville; five sisters, Jo Helen Hamock and Sarah Harp, both of Cookeville, Mary Frances Keith of Nashville, Bonnie Phann of Baxter and Jannie Lou Ules of Chestnut Mound; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
