  George Stafford is named as a surviving brother in the July 2008 Obituary for Jo Helen Hammock. GAINESBORO -- Funeral services for George Dillard Stafford, 75, of Bloomington Springs, will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 24, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 23, and from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Mr. Stafford died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Sam Stafford and Hallie Biggs Stafford. On April 30, 1956, he was married. He was a retired mechanic and farmer, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Sam Dow Stafford, Jr.; 2 Sisters: Jo Helen Hammock and May Ellen Mayberry; and his Father and Mother-in-Law: Artis and Stella Johnson.
