Aug. 16, 1917 — July 28, 2006
Lulie (Allen) Stafford, 88, of Crossville, passed away July 28, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 1 at Community Independent Freewill Baptist Church, with Bro. James Ford officiating. Interment was in Smith's Chapel Cemetery in Jackson County.
Mrs. Stafford was born Aug. 16, 1917, the daughter of Amos and Mary (Wilmoth) Allen.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Reba Williams and Avie Martin of Crossville; sons, Thomas Stafford and Ricky Stafford of Crossville and Richard Stafford Sr. of Jackson County; sisters, Sattie Netherton of Crossville and Cory Fleming of Algood; brother-in-law, Johnny Stafford of Algood; 29 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, ELIJAH LEE STAFFORD; sons, Roy Stafford, James Ray Stafford and Raymond Stafford; granddaughter, Robin Stafford; grandsons, Tommy Stafford and Richard Stafford Jr.; brothers, Dillard Allen, Johnny Allen, William Allen, Thomas Allen and Baby Boy Allen; and sisters, Susie Judd and Avie Witson.
Pallbearers were J.B. Netherton, Scottie Howard, Mike Dilman, Tony Talley, Johnny McClain, Kevin Miller and Randy Demetro.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
