Services for Margaret Elizabeth Stafford, 85, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Interment will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in Jackson County, Tennessee. She passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, Tennessee. She was born November 8, 1933, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late James Franklin Brown and
Margie Ann Brown. On June 16, 1951, she was married to the late Eugene Stafford. She was a factory worker at Heavy Duty and Crotty. She was a member of the Free State Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 Sons:
Bobby Gene Stafford and Danny Lee Stafford; 3 Brothers: Edward Lee Brown, Joe Clyde Brown, and James Leonard Brown; and 1 Sister: Edna 'Doris' Meadows.
Survivors include 1 Daughter: Brenda Peek of Jackson County; 6 Grandchildren: Toni Scantland, Amy Avent, Heather Stimits, Daniel Stafford, Matt Stafford, and Andy Stafford;
10 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Albert Brown of Jackson County; and 1 Daughter in Law: Kim Stafford of Jackson County. Larry Stafford and Luke Hall will officiate at the services.
