  Willie J., age 2 & seven months, is listed as son on the 1930 Jackson Co., Tenn. census in the HH of William H. & May Ramsey. Willie J. Ramsey is named as a surviving Brother in the Sept. 2001 Obituary for Cecil Ramsey. WILLIE J. RAMSEY - Obituary - Overton County News - (Mar/3/2009) Willie J. Ramsey, 80, of Chicago, IL, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Chicago. A memorial service and burial in the New Hope Cemetery in Jackson County will be conducted at a later date. Born February 5, 1929 in Jackson County, he was the son of the late William H. Ramsey and Maye (Stafford) Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey lived the last 60 years of his life in Chicago, IL, and was a resident at California Gardens Rehab and Nursing Home for the last 20 years. As a young man, he was a sportsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Charlie Ramsey, Zollie Ramsey, Cecil Ramsey, and Harold Ramsey; 4 sisters, Ina Rose Ramsey, Joanna Ramsey, Juanita Ramsey, and Alvie C. Scott; and a grandson, Cecil Ray Ramsey, Jr. Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Cecil Ray and Genevieve Ramsey of Romeoville, IL, and William Wayne and Donna Ramsey of Crystal Lake, IL; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Ramsey of TN; a sister, Lola B. Alexander of Memphis, TN; a half-sister, Opal Ayers of Hilham; a sister-in-law, Thelma Ramsey of Goodlettsville, TN; 4 grandchildren, 7 nieces and 4 nephews.
