  Obituary: GAMBIER, OH: Patricia L. (Stafford) Wheeler, age 80, of Gambier, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 surrounded by her family at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on November 30, 1932 in Hanover, Ohio (Licking County) to the late Raymond and Martha (Hollar) Stafford. Patricia was a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church and the Bladensburg Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia was a past recipient of the Utica Sertoma Club Service to Mankind Award. Patricia is survived by her husband and lifetime partner of 61 years, Merle "Bud" Wheeler; three sons, Gary (Crickett) Wheeler, Larry Wheeler and Randy (Diana) Wheeler; two daughters, Bev (Ron) Foote and Brenda (Steve) Dush; sisters, Helena Priest and Dorothy (Bob) Earlywine; grandchildren, Tricia, MaryAnn, John, Evan, Daniel, Benjamin, Joe, Sandy, Julie, Bobbi, Ryan, Chad, Kelsey, Melisha, Josh, Taylor and Jett; great-grandchildren, Will, Robbie, Liam, Logan, Bailey, Cali, Hunter, Bradley, B.J., Hayden, Radek; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Rine; brother, Robert Stafford. Friends may call on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 2;00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00PM at Bladensburg Church of Christ, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery-Bladensburg, Ohio. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral services for the Wheeler family.
