Mr. Patrick had been a resident of Carthage and vicinity 40 years. He was born March 22, 1875, in Douglas county, Missouri and was married May 22, 1897, in Sparta to Elizabeth Maggard. Mrs. Maggard died Nov. 7, 1958. He was employed a number of years in the old Center Creek quarries. Surviving are three sons, Harvey Patrick, route 1, Ellis Patrick 1102 south Maple and Earl Patrick of the family home on route 3; two daughters, Mrs. William Willis, route 3 and Mrs. Howard Ritchie, Wichita; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Patrick was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services will be at 3 Friday afternoon at the Knell mortuary. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
