Jessie Luetta Harvill Willis - Obituary
Jessie Luetta (Morrison) Harvill Willis, 80, Ozark, Mo., departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
She was born August 24, 1925, at Highlonesome, the daughter of William "Bill" and Matle (Nelson) Morrison.
In November 1937, Luetta was baptized and became a lifelong member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
On February 2, 1946, she was united in marriage to Bernace Eugene "Gene" Harvill. From this union seven children were born.
She is survived by one son, Denny Harvill of Forsyth; three daughters, Mary June Loftin and husband, Marvin, of Ava; Phyllis Bloomer of Ava; Betty Jo "B.J." Harvill of Ozark;
two sisters, Ortha Lawrence of Ava, and Huba Rozell of Chadwick;
one brother, Dillon Morrison and wife, Carol, of Springfield; one sister-in-law, Doris Morrison of Ava; eight very special grandchildren and 10 wonderful great-grandchildren; a special family friend, Becky Hamm; as well as a host of other relatives and good friends.
Luetta was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, on August 29, 1986, and her husband, Earl Willis, on October 4, 2002; her son, Glen Allen; one infant son; one infant daughter; her parents; and two brothers, Max and Paul.
Luetta raised her family and enjoyed life to the fullest on her farm in Douglas County for many years.
She retired from 24 years of service at Fasco Industries of Ozark in 1990.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Carl Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Highlonesome Cemetery, Douglas County. . . .
