Goldie Alma (Maggard) Filbeck, 83, Springfield, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007.
She was born in Ongo, Douglas County, Mo., on September 23, 1924, to Cleveland and Stella Nelson Maggard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald Maggard; a baby girl, Lella Zoe; one great-granddaughter, Ashley; and one great-great-grandson, Lyndon.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Haymes; one daughter-in-law, Marie Maggard;
four brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was a very giving person and dedicated worker who never met a stranger. "Sister", "Mom", "Granny Goldie", "Grandma Goldie" will be missed more than words can say. Rest finally in peace. I love you, Mom, -Debbie
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. . . . Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
