He was born July 1, 1943, in Waco, Texas, the son of Arthur Hull and Imogene Bauer. On May 14, 1964, he was united in marriage to Glenda Charlene Letterman. Gene was a skilled carpenter by trade, a family man and he played guitar at local churches. Gene is survived by his wife Charlene; son Luther Hull of Sparta; daughter Nancy Nelson of Oldfield; brothers Joe Ford, Stanley Bauer and Gay McKinney; sisters Linda Olson, Evon Garrison, Laura Fail, and Jenny Belford; two grandchildren Travis and Tyler Nelson; several other caring relatives and many caring friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Floyd. Graveside services were held Sept. 9 in Bruner Cemetery with Pastor Keith Lafferty officiating. Services conducted under the care and directions of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
