Mr. Jesse Harold Bush, Age 64 of Brush Creek, TN., died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Riverview Regional Medical Center, South Campus.
Harold was born September 3, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Sina Smallwood Bush and Jesse Clyde Bush.
A brother, Jimmy Darrel Bush preceded him in death.
He was a 1966 graduate of Smith County High School. He was a Veteran of the VietNam conflict serving in the United States Air Force from May 1966 to May 30, 1972. He worked with Cowan Company at the New Jersey Zinc Mine, Gordonsville and received injuries on November 16, 1970 becoming disabled to work. Since that time he has enjoyed working in his shop, with his flowers and tending to purple martins.
He enjoyed car racing and watching football on TV.
He was married to Jean Allen Williams on May 9, 1971. He was an active member of New Middleton Baptist Church.
Mr. Bush is survived by his wife, Jean Williams Bush of Brush Creek, TN.
Two Brothers: Johnny and his wife Sherry of Lebanon TN and Jerry and his wife, Debbie of Statesville, TN.
Sister, Shirley Allen and her husband, Mike of Auburntown, TN.
Two Nephews who he help raise: Don Grandstaff of Brush Creek, TN and Dale Grandstaff of Woodlawn, TN.
Eleven Nieces and Nephews: Twelve Great Nieces and Nephews
Funeral Services for Mr. Bush will be held at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 P. M., with Bros. Mark Stinnett, Chris Blair and Charlie Pollard officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
