Buried:
- Died at 10:15 a.m. Monday in Baton Rouge General Hospital at age 41. He lived at Walker. A native of Rosetta, Miss., he was a veteran of World War II and a retired radio operator for the Louisiana State Police.
The body will be at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home in Denham Springs until 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services will be conducted at the Walker Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by Rev. H. B. Wilkinson and Rev. D. Carroll. Burial will be in the Stafford Cemetery at Corbin.
Surviving are the wife, the former Yvonne Wascom; three sons, Ivy, Gerald and Michael, all of Walker; three sisters, Mrs. L. O. Cavin, Crosby, Miss., Mrs. Mary Bass, Titusville, Fla., and Mrs. Ernestine Kuhn, Seattle, Wash., and two brothers, John Day, Baton Rouge, and L. C. Day, Gloster, Miss.
