Buried:
- A resident and native of Walker, he died Monday, Oct. 7, 1996, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home 10 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Gerald Wascom. Interment in Hiram Stafford Cemetery, Livingston.
Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Forbes Dugas and Robert Dugas and Tammy Forbes, all of Walker; a brother, H.H. Forbes Jr., Walker; a sister-in-law, Joyce Forbes, Walker; three grandchildren, Teddy Forbes, Andy Bradford and Corey Sibley, all of Walker; nieces and nephews, Scelitta Bond, Denham Springs,Debbie Forbes, Walker, and Ronnie Forbes, Denham Springs.
Preceded in death by parents, H.H. Sr. and Torah Forbes.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Stafford, Clyde Stafford, Ronny Forbes, Robert Dugas, Teddy Forbes and Craig Hudson.
He was a member of Walker Baptist Church and Operating Engineers Local No. 406.
