Buried:
- A resident of Holden, he died at 3 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 1998, at his home. He was 49 and a native of Baton Rouge.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Sidney McMorris and the Rev. Clinton Mitchell. Interment in Hiram Stafford Cemetery, Walker.
Survived by wife, Stella Stafford; three daughters, Kathy, Chrissie and Shirley Stafford; two sons, Troy Stafford Jr. and Mack Stafford; a stepson, Billy Simmons; a brother, Clyde K. Stafford; four grandchildren, Milton Wayne, Christian and Raven Stafford and Jennifer Motichek; and an aunt, Geneva Neal.
Preceded in death by parents, Bowers Hiram and Shirley Ware Stafford.
Pallbearers will be Murphy Martin, Larry Ware, Keith Stafford, Smiley Carl Lea, Ronnie Motichek and Al Barber Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Day and Duncan Smith.
He was a member of Satsuma Baptist Church, Satsuma, Red Oak Hunting Club, Livingston, and Gum Swamp Hunting Club, Livingston.
